Named after Aaron's grandfather, Chine Box was originally a one-man custom shop that quickly built a reputation as a great place to go for custom tattoos at a fair price. In the years following, Li'l Joe began his apprenticeship under Aaron. After a few years of studying the trade he got his license to tattoo. Chine Box needed to expand.
In the summer of 2015 the shop moved into a big building in downtown Warren that also featured a full art gallery. Aaron and Joe teamed up with friends and artists Derek "Doc" Fields and Denny Michaels (who coincidently served his apprenticeship with Aaron under Bill Bodnar).
The shop is now open Monday through Saturday 12 - 7pm with three full time tattooers and one traveling artist. We do Walk-in Wednesday every week and host art shows featuring local artists every month.
