The 1st German Tattoo Convention

"Hey, guys, remember what it was like at our convention in 1991?

we had no Handy and the computer we had in the office was our pride and joy.

But unfortunately nobody could operate it ...MS DOS ..all we could do on the screen was magic:

C:// We have written to our artist all over the world by Post Letters and sometimes had to wait weeks for an answer or promise.

The poster was then drawn by the top tattoo Artist in this time, Schepi R.I.P Maybe one of you remember and knows him.. then cut together, glued and copied. That was all still handwork.

In 1991 the lettering „TATTOO Convention „ was created and was kept until today.

There are not many pictures from the time, the German TATTOO Magazin did not exist in this time and the press did not have yet properly desire outsiders to promoten.

We would be happy if you could still find some photos in an old box from this time which you could perhaps make available to us for a cool story about 30 years of TATTOO Convention over Instagram..."
