After a hugely successful first year, we are back with the Second Annual Winnipeg Tattoo Convention in 2018. Happening August 24, 25 & 26 at Red River Exhibition Park, we will once again be bringing world-renowned tattoo talent to Winnipeg for three days of live tattooing, entertainment and art.
Brought to you by Kapala Tattoo and Good Guy Supply, this three-day event is bringing renowned tattoo artists from across the world to showcase their talent with live tattooing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Apart from more than 200 of the world’s most talented tattoo artists, our convention will feature an outdoor festival including live music, entertainment, shopping, food trucks, beer gardens, classic cars, motorcycles and more!
This is a show organized by tattooers for tattooers. We are passionate about tattooing. Artists this year include Steve Moore, Clint Danroth, Samantha Smith, Logan Barracuda, Tyler Pennington, Rostro Valseca, Dan Fletcher, Antony Flemming, Shamus Mahannah, Horitsuki, Heather MacLean, Lucas Ford, Anthony Tex, Jeff Tam, Elric, Jacob Wiman, Kevin Dickenson, Nick Stegall, Katie Schocrylas, Craig Fenrick, Sean Cushnie, Acrow, and hundreds of other talented Canadian and International artists.
We are hosting an international tattoo convention and are bringing you some of the finest men and women tattooing today. This is a celebration of tattoo art, culture, craftsmanship and self expression. Tattoos are powerful iconic images with meaning and significance as diverse and varied as the people who choose to wear them. How to get tattooed at the convention
You must be 18+ to get tattooed at the convention.
Book an appointment ahead of time or look for a tattoo artist to do a tattoo on the spot at the convention.
Booking ahead
To find an artist we suggest looking through our artists page and the artists’ Instagram feeds. Find someone whose style you like and think might be a good fit for you and your idea.
Contact the tattoo artist of your choice via email to make arrangements with them. Helpful information to provide includes putting ‘Winnipeg Tattoo Convention’ in the subject line and outlining what you are looking to have tattooed, the size, and the location on your body. You can talk about expected costs and any other questions you might have.
Getting tattooed on the spot
There are going to be many artists on hand, ready and willing, to tattoo you at the show. Walk around, check out all the booths and find an artist to do your tattoo. Bring some photos or reference materials for your ideas, or just leave it to the expert to draw up something awesome for you. The artists might need a bit of time to draw but you will be on your way to getting tattooed asap.
